Please select two (2) choices.
a) Run As on dashboards
b) Folder Permission on a Report
c) Run As on scheduled reports
d) Folder Permission on a Dashboard
Ans. a,c
4. A developer needs to make a field that is normally accessible by most users inaccessible on the report wizard for specific users. What the best method to fulfill that requirement?

a) The child record is deleted
b) Nothing
c) The parent record cannot be deleted
d) The child record cannot be deleted
Ans. b
question number 5 is incomplete as Option b and c both are correct. As while creating lookup in child if we select the Option "Always require a value in this field in order to save a record" then answer is C else answer is b
ReplyDeleteThe question is specifically asking what will happen to the child record. I think the answer is marked correctly (b. Nothing)

The question is specifically asking what will happen to the child record. I think the answer is marked correctly (b. Nothing)
ReplyDeleteThe question is specifically asking what will happen to the child record but the answer is dependent on what options we selected while creating the lookup. Just asking what will happen to the child record is not complete as what will happen to child record depends upon what options we selected
ReplyDeleteThe lookup field is on the parent object and holds a reference to the child. If you delete the parent, you're deleting the whole object so the value of the lookup field becomes irrelevant.
DeleteYou're thinking of the child object holding the reference to the parent (one to many) which I suppose is one way of creating this relationship but I think they generally consider the object holding the reference to be the parent (1 to 1) even though that's not always true. In that case, yes, you would have to consider the options selected on that field.
I think the real problem with this question is that they let you assume which object contains the lookup field so you can get this wrong regardless of how well you understand the difference between master-detail and lookup relationships which is really what they're testing you on there. They should say Object A has a lookup field referencing Object B, what happens to Object B when you delete object A.
4. A developer needs to make a field that is normally accessible by most users inaccessible on the report wizard for specific users. What the best method to fulfill that requirement?
ReplyDeletea) Field level security
b) Remove the field from the page layout
c) Remove the field from the user profile
d) Change my display under personal settings
The question as well as its answer is not clear to me... can any one explain both the things...
If you make any field as not visible in a particular profile's (the profile user is tagged to) Field Level Security, then that user will not be able to see that field in any of the screens including Report wizards (for report creation). Hence option A.
DeleteReasons for not selecting the other answers:
B : If you remove the field from Page layout no user can access it.
C : A profile can have multiple user, hence if you remove from profile all the users will not be able to see it.
D : Users cannot change this settings by themselves.
3. A manager in an organization wants to share specific fields of data to his subordinates that only he has access to. What is the best way to share specific fields of data?imp Please select two (2) choices.
ReplyDeleteI think the correct answers are A, B
a) Run As on dashboards
b) Folder Permission on a Report
